Yearly Poll Results!

This is exciting stuff. We now have with the Yearly Poll results for 2006. We were so excited by the findings that we decided to give them their own website. In 3 different languages! Wow.

You can view the Yearly Poll results here.

I mentioned in a earlier post that there was some controversy surrounding our deserved World Champion of 2006 question. Well now you can see for yourself! Go, go and enjoy the Yearly Poll Results website. Marvel over the top bands/brands and website. Revel in your favourite Spreadshirt products and gasp in astonishment at your favourite design. It should be pointed out that we previously told you that Muse was the biggest band in 2006. This is infact true when you add all three countries results together. The favourite band from the UK was infact Razorlight.

Feel free to comment on any of the findings here…..Yearly Poll Results

Who wants to be a tshirt millionaire?

Bring me the head graphic

Okay so the title is a little misleading, you won’t exactly be a millionaire. But its one of those little white lies like “No darling, you’re the most beautiful woman I’ve ever seen” or “he did it” (followed by pointing).

Anyway, I’m a big believer in the phrase “feeling like a millionaire”. You’ll definitely feel like one of those if you win the 100,000 brouzoufs prize from our playfully named “Bring me the head of the UK Ambassador” competition.

Thats right I said 100,000 brouzoufs (the la fraise loyalty currency, 1000eur to spend on tshirts). You’ll be a king amongst men, splashing the cash on fine tshirts.

And how do you win? Simple, you help us solve a little recruitment problem. La Fraise UK needs its head honcho the “Uk ambassador”. Tell all your friends. They want a cool job right?
Check it out here http://thehead.lafraise.com/

If they get hired, you get more tshirts than you could possibly know what to do with.

Here are some suggestions:

- Use them as currency. I see your £2 and raise you a “god is back” in Medium.
- Build a “shirtain” - its a curtain made out of tshirts. Obviously.
- Attempt to beat the world tshirt wearing record (you might need to throw some of your own in as well)
- Stop washing your clothes. Just give it up. Its over.

Note: We require the person functional ie with head still attached to body. Just to clear that up.

This post took me too long to write! Why?… The Twitter Curve

I just read this really interesting article over at Creating Passionate Users about the Twitter Curve. Essentially, we don’t end up focusing on anything, because we are too busy trying to keep in touch with everything!

I have to admit that i find this phenomenon to be true…

Celebrity Big Brother mayhem!

Unless you’ve been sleeping in a fallout bunker six miles under the earth’s surface, it will be impossible to have not noticed the mayhem that’s currently surrounding Celebrity Big Brother. The current season of CBB has become such a phenomenon, it’s even become political - being commented on by Gordon Brown and Tony Blair - who of course promise us they’ve never seen the show (lying politicians!).

Cometh the hour, cometh the…… strawberry!

Lafraise Logo

We’ve got it pretty good in the UK. We have royalty, the BBC, chavs, expensive alcohol, alan partridge. What could we possibly add to improve that cocktail? How about Strawberry? In second thoughts how about I abandon this failing cocktail metaphor and stick to the basics:

Why have fun, when you can have more fun. In that vein La Fraise is proud to announce its new international seedlings in blighty (the UK), Germany, Finland and Norway. Why should the french have all the fun?

Starting, well, ermjust a few hours ago the new version are live over at http://www.lafraise.com

Each community will have its own unique feel, seperate submissions and winning shirts, but keep the core of what has made the french site so special:

- A talented and passionate team of bloggers
- Awesome tshirts
- Dogs heads
- Community involvement
- The best designers, offering the best designs.
- Strawberries
- The French The British
- A bumper prize bounty of €1,000 euros for each winning design.

In the name of perfection… London Spirit

The second placed T-Shirt from thedraw, London Spirit, is now available to buy! You may be asking yourself, what took so long? Well, in a previous post we talked about the lack of contrast and poor colour selection in the initial production of the shirt. So now we have a new version of London Spirit that we are very excited about. We are particularly pleased with the placement of the design and how well it stands out on the t-shirt. Let us know what you think!

London Spirit is currently an EU exclusive. You can grab yourself a limited edition here.

Rub salt in Liverpool’s wounds

Shankly Arsenal T-shirt

Gloating Arsenal fans are snapping up this shirt, commemorating Liverpool’s double ignomony at the hands of Arsenal.

Legendary Liverpool manager Bill Shankly - no fan of neighbours Everton - famously remarked; “There are two great teams in the city, Liverpool and Liverpool reserves.”

Now, with Arsenal’s first eleven knocking Liverpool out of the cup on Saturday, followed by their largely teenage second string returning to Anfield and hitting six on Tuesday, the latest Spreadshirt T-shirt has a bitter twist on Shanks’s words:

“There are two great teams in Liverpool, Arsenal and Arsenal reserves.”
