I just read this really cool blog post about how to leave a memorable tip. Now it was obviously the shirt that fascinated me the most (the spider just looks way too hard!), but i thought instead of just telling you about this nice idea, i thought i would try it out for myself….
Here is a photo from the site showing you just how good the shirt/note can look….

Read on to see my attempt with a 10 Euro note….I would like to point out two things before showing you my attempt.
1) The video starts off nice and easily, but then suddenly there is an impossible folding technique that seems to come out of nowhere, with no explanations! So i needed to improvise slightly… You will sympathise with me if you try this yourself.
2) I don’t know if this is true or not, but i am going to state it to make myself feel better! The 10 Euro note is not nearly as foldable as the dollar. The proportions are just all wrong (hence my fat looking note!), note to mention the thickness of the note itself…
Here is the video that i attempted to follow….
Ok, so enough of my excuses. Time to take a look at my afternoons labor….

Not bad eh? Or do you think you can do better? How does the 10 Pound Note fold? Does it look better than the Euro? Send in your examples and we will do a comparison shirt/origami post at a later date..

I have found proof that the “fat” shirt is not entirely down to me!
