Now that at least in Germany summer finally decided to look like summer again, for hygenic reasons, backpacks aren´t the bags to go with anymore. Fortunately, Alena who is responsible for Spreadshirt´s apparel, has added some new shoulder and hand bags to our stock.

On the one hand, we got the “Retro Bags“, which exactly hold a towel, a book, a cellphone, a bottle of water, a bottle of sun screen and some bathing stuff.

On the other we have the Organic Tote Bag which - I tested that myself - can perfectly hold a Powerbook, a headset, some magazines and one or two pencils.

Of course, they offer excellent printing results, too. Otherwise we wouldn´t have them.

Probably the most asked for thing next to “goal line technology” in football: more kids stuff in our assortment. Well, here we go: today we added the Continental Kids-Shirt made from 100% organic cotton. Comes in baby blue, white, red and black. (Plus: with a grammage of 200g, it keeps looking good despite of daily washes.)

Combined it with the glow in the dark flex for maximum impact.  It seems i’ve been the default model for all Halloween related shenanigans this year, I apologize for that, a few people have already reported that i’m a little scary

In my opinion the Lanyard is one of the lesser appreciated members of the Spreadshirt assortment. Like the sweaty uncle, with the slight drinking problem, often left uninvited to family bbq’s. My opinion of the lanyard changed when we made some as part of a sponsorship of the Leipzig music event Popup.

Music genre’s become increasingly more ridiculous by the week it seems, every genre must involve post, neo, core, progressive etc etc, so we made up a load and put them on the lanyard. We had a really good response, it was a nice talking point and the lanyard still proudly rests in my wallet.

So lets take a moment to champion the humble lanyard, without which finding your keys would be a whole lot harder, and blinging your wallet a whole lot less enjoyable. I hope that my championing of the lanyard makes you more likely to invite it into your Spreadshop bbq.

The Puzzles will very soon be de-listed. Rumor has it that there are only 10 left in stock. That means:

a) They weren’t very popular, hence the delisting
b) The last one we ever produce will be a sort of collectors item

I’ve reserved the last one and we’ll give it away on the blog once the other nine have sold. Alternatively I’ll sell it on ebay and move to Hawaii, oh no wait the puzzles weren’t very popular, I’ll sell it and move to Harlow. On second thoughts, I’ll just give it away.

Recently we ran a little name our pirate contest. The winning name has been chosen. Guess it and you win the last puzzle (with the pirate on it). Here are some clues:
